A Translator's Tool Box for the 21st Century
Workshop and Seminars

Translator's Tool Box

Based on the positive response to his Translator's Tool Box—A Computer Primer for Translators, and requests by several regional translation associations, author Jost Zetzsche is now offering half-day and full-day seminars for fellow translators.

Following the structure of his book, Jost focuses his seminars on how to use the computer more efficiently in the day-to-day work of translation. He encourages participants to understand this learning process as a positive, fun-filled, and necessary investment into every translator's business.

Areas that are covered in the seminars include instructions for fine-tuning your operating system, lists of inexpensive or free applications that make your life easier, and computer-assisted translation tools. Jost will also discuss strategies for acquiring the necessary software tools and determining which ones are really necessary.

Seminars in places such as Atlanta, New York, Washington, Miami, Seattle, Portland, Montreal, Phoenix, Toronto, San Francisco, and Boston have been enthusiastically received.
