. . . just a note to compliment you on the "Toolbox" book. The suggestions are specific, and the ones I've tried (Windows settings and TweakUI) worked the first time. I plan to follow up what you said about text and HTML editors too. It will take more time to absorb your points about Word and DTP software, but if they are as useful as the others,
the book will be a great value.

. . . I think that you have written a terrific primer for newcomers to translation, and I will recommend it to our students at the T&I Institute. There is a lot of important information here that will help translators get a head-start on the technology side of the profession.
